Trainings
We offer computational biology and AI trainings for every experience level. Our services range from from 1-on-1 tutoring and code reviews, to upskilling workshops and strategic management training for research leaders. All programs are built on industry best practices based on our collective experience across academia, biotech and drug discovery.
AI in Practice: No-Code AI Workflows
AI approaches in biology are developing rapidly, but it is not always clear which AI tools are best suited for a specific research task, and how to actually use these tools in practice. In this workshop we present key AI technologies including Large Language Models, foundation models, RAG, and Agentic AI. This knowledge will then be put into practice by learning to use the latest AI tools to go beyond chatting with large language models — and start building powerful, repeatable workflows that fit how you actually work as an immunologist. No coding required.
AI in Practice: Build AI Workflows in Python and R
.Take your omics analyses further by building custom AI workflows directly in R and Python. Learn to integrate large language models and AI APIs into your existing bioinformatics pipelines — programmatically, flexibly, and at scale.
Code and Pipeline Reviews
For researchers in primarily wet-lab environments or without strong bioinformatics support, access to dedicated computational mentorship is often limited. These code review sessions provide the technical oversight necessary to ensure your analysis is methodologically sound. We conduct a detailed evaluation of your existing code and pipelines to ensure that your project is on track.
AI and Computational Upskilling for Research Leaders
As biomedical research becomes increasingly reliant on large-scale data and AI, the ability to manage complex analytical and data workflows is a critical competency for research leaders. However, many leaders lack the tools necessary in order to manage data analysis project successfully, particularly when they come from a wet-lab background. This training provides leaders with a framework for overseeing computational work without requiring them to be full-time programmers. The framework is based on industry best practices and covers topics such as data and code management, implementation and governance of AI workflows, as well as leveraging large scale open source datasets to deliver high quality research on limited budgets. Importantly, each training is bespoke and content can be adapted to your research program.
Grant Writing and Review for Academics
Free Service for Select Academic Partners
We help PIs build training costs into grant applications — so your team's computational upskilling is funded from day one. We'll work with you to scope and cost the training your project needs, and help you write it into your proposal in a way that holds up to review.
1-on-1 Tutoring
Develop core computational biology skills such as programming, data analysis, and data visualisation through 1-on-1 live coding and analysis sessions tailored to the requirements of your research. In these sessions it is possible to work with your own datasets, so that you can advance your project while building a foundational skillset that will benefit your professional development.
